Job Overview
Alvion Technologies is looking for an experienced Automation Tester (Python) to join our quality engineering team in Jaipur. You will design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Python and Selenium. The ideal candidate will write clean test scripts, execute API automation tests, identify software bugs, and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure high-quality, reliable software releases.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Framework Development
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python.
Test Script Development
Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
Automation Development
Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python with Selenium for web application testing and regression coverage.
API Testing
Develop and execute API automation test cases using Python libraries (e.g., Requests).
Defect Management
Identify, document, and track software defects with proper reporting and root cause analysis.
Agile Participation
Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- ✓3–4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- ✓Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- ✓Experience with Selenium using Python.
- ✓Experience in API testing and automation.
- ✓Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- ✓Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- •Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- •Familiarity with Docker or basic DevOps practices.
- •Knowledge of performance testing tools.
- •Experience with reporting tools such as Allure or HTML reporting frameworks.
- •Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
